La luminosité : un facteur à ne pas négliger
Advices
Brightness can greatly influence one’s perception of a colour, in particular the orientation (north, south, east, west) of the space to be painted and the amount of natural light entering it.
|
Indeed, a room oriented to the North will tend to tarnish the colors, in this case warm and energetic shades will have to be privileged.
A South-facing room will tend to intensify the colors, in this case cool and soothing shades can be applied.
A room oriented to the West will warm your shades, in this case cold and neutral shades can temper the space to be painted.
A room oriented to the East risks hardening the colors, in this case neutral and pastel shades can make it more welcoming.
These trends, although interesting to consider, should not condition your color choices, but remains an essential element to take into account in some cases!
If the natural light is suffiscient, it will be necessary to look at the artificial lights chosen for the space in question indeed, the bulbs are calibrated in hot or cold light, this parameter is defined by a unit called the Kelvin (cold lights are above 3,500 K hot lights below 3,500 K).
