Colours are often unconsciously associated with feelings and emotions. Each color has its own meaning, symbolism and can significantly influence our mood and behavior.


So, as you imagine a room or reinvent it, remember the impact a color can have on your interior. The effect can be subtle or spectacular, but none of them will leave you marble!

• Red is often associated with love, passion, energy and strength, but also with aggression and anger.

• Blue evokes peace, serenity, security, confidence and is often marked by sadness or melancholy.

• Green is often associated with nature, growth, freshness and harmony.

• Orange expresses a certain sense of energy, dynamism and good humor.

•  Yellow evokes joy, optimism and intelligence.

Violet expresses royalty, richness, creativity, spirituality and mystery.

• Pink embodies softness, innocence, femininity and would have a calming effect.

Brown communicates a certain neutrality, bitter and intense flavors.

 White represents purity, innocence, peace and simplicity.

• Black often suggests elegance, sophistication, power, and death.

The colors structure the space and well used, they can have unexpected effects on those who frequent the places where they are applied.

A perfect example of this is restaurants, which often use warm colours such as red and orange to stimulate customer appetite, while hospitals use soothing colours such as blue and green to reduce patient stress.

It is important to note that colours can have different meanings from one culture to another. For example, red is considered a lucky colour in China, while white is associated with death and mourning in Japan.


Although very subjective, this point had to be addressed! In conclusion, colors are powerful vectors of emotions, and feelings! Understanding the symbolic meaning of it can help communicate more effectively and create environments that promote well-being.
Although we all experience colors differently: everyone's tastes and perceptions cannot be discussed, but these few generalities can end up guiding you in the choice of your colors!
